Maya  Dhondt  plays,  writes,  makes  and  performs  music  in  all  kinds  of  different  projects. She  produces  for  her  solo project  maya dhondt,  plays  synths  for   Ohne Francis and frequently  plays & makes music for  theatre  pieces.  Everywhere  she  goes, she  takes  her  classical  background  and  technique  with  her. She  loves  to  put  it  all  together  in  a  boundary-crossing  open  relationship.

Maya was trained as a classical pianist in the conservatories of Ghent (with Vitaly Samoshko) and Antwerp (with Sergei Edelman). In Antwerp, she also got her teachers degree.
